Last Friday, Teresa took part in a breakfast celebration of International Women’s Day in Orléans. It was a special occasion, as her Member of Provincial Parliament Marie-France Lalonde recognized her hard work and exceptional contribution in making Orléans a stronger community.
Teresa became a recipient of the Leading Women, Building Communities Award in recognition of the passion and dedication she has shown and the positive impact she has made in her community.
She joined 200 women and young girls across Ontario and 40 in the region of Ottawa who were recognized this year.
MPP Lalonde sincerely thanked her on behalf of the Province of Ontario, describing her as a “role model for women and girls and our entire community” for her “qualities of service and leadership”.
