Teresa started her career in the real estate industry in 1990 with J.E. McKinney and with the National Real Estate Service in 1992. She then spent 12 years – from 1994 to 2006 – as a realtor for Re/MAX Quinte Ltd. After moving back to Ottawa in 2007, she worked for Royal LePage, and in 2010 moved to Keller Williams.


Her career also extended beyond real restate, serving as City Councillor in Belleville between 2003 and 2006 and as Chair of the City of Ottawa Business Advisory Committee between 2009 and 2013.

A Rich History of Volunteering

Teresa Whitmore has a lengthy and rich history when it comes to volunteering. While residing in Belleville, she served on the boards of United Way Quinte, the Ontario Small Urban Municipalities Association and the Quinte and District Real Estate Board.


After moving to Ottawa, she has worked with Habitat for Humanity, served as director of UNIFEM Canada, and as governor of Canadian REALTORS Care Foundation, as well as Ambassador for InterNations and as Vice-President and now President of the Rotary Club of Orleans.


Over the years, Teresa Whitmore has developed the experience and insight to become a relocation specialist.
